Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled a Russian assault on the eastern city of Bakhmut, according to new video footage and reports.
The footage, captured by helmet cameras worn by Ukrainian soldiers, shows intense fighting in trenches as Russian forces retreated in the face of fierce Ukrainian counterattacks.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive, which began earlier this month, has resulted in further advances and some extremely fierce fighting.
